The tragedy of Minab has brought sorrow to the hearts of every conscious person in the world.
This tragedy has sparked a massive wave of shock and grief. The vast majority of the public in the U.S. and around the World stood in opposition to the strike on the school, and today, providing aid to the survivors has become a heartfelt mission for all of us to express our deep remorse. Even the U.S. government has implicitly acknowledged the catastrophic error involved in this loss of 168 precious lives. Furthermore, Amnesty International, UN experts, dozens of U.S. Senators, Nobel Laureates, many nations and humanitarian organizations worldwide have condemned the strike, urging immediate support for the victims.
The Minab school bombing was a tragedy that shook the world, claiming the lives of 168 innocent children. Among the ruins, more than 100 young survivors remain—brave little souls who survived the unthinkable but are now facing daunting physical and mental scars. Many are struggling with the loss of limbs and shrapnel injuries requiring complex reconstructive surgeries, while the deep trauma has caused some to lose their ability to speak. To heal, these children must travel from their local towns to reach specialized care in larger cities.
By engaging with our partner center in Jiroft, we have found a reliable and independent way to reach the children who survived. Though they are alive, they remain deeply hurt—both mentally and physically. This campaign is a minuscule gesture to the children of Minab, that members of the international community are here to help.
We are committed to ensuring that financial barriers never stand in the way of a child's recovery. Through our independent partner center in Jiroft, via OFAC License IA-2021-376514-11, Golestan Foundation is authorized to provide support to the children of Minab and injured survivors in other impacted areas.
Your compassion is the nourishment that allows these young lives to sprout anew. By helping us restore their health, you are sending a message of peace and solidarity with the children of Minab, who deserve a childhood and hope for a better tomorrow.
