Fereshteh was established in March 2001 to provide a safe and supportive home for orphaned girls aged 12 to 18. Over the past two decades, it has built a strong record of impact and care.
Through its programs, Fereshteh has supported five young women in continuing their education at the undergraduate and graduate levels, while offering ongoing emotional and financial support to many others as they transition into independent, contributing members of society.
In addition, Fereshteh has successfully reunited 35 girls with their families, following a careful and rigorous screening process to ensure each home meets strict health and safety standards. Today, Fereshteh is home to 21 girls.
Due to ongoing economic challenges, Fereshteh—funded primarily through local donations—is struggling to meet even basic needs such as food and clothing. As a result, opportunities for educational growth have become increasingly limited for these young women.
Our goal is to support this trusted organization in Khoy by ensuring these children not only meet their basic needs but also have access to meaningful educational opportunities. We aim to provide a personalized, comprehensive educational program that includes:
We estimate that $3,500 USD is needed to fully cover the educational expenses of all 21 girls (see the Education Campaign page for detailed breakdowns).
Your support can directly transform their futures—giving them access to education, skills, and opportunities that would otherwise be out of reach. These are children who have already faced significant hardship; with your help, they can build stable, independent, and fulfilling lives.
Every contribution, no matter the size, makes a meaningful difference. By supporting this effort, you are not only meeting immediate needs—you are investing in their long-term potential and helping restore hope for a brighter future.
