Atre Yas Nabavi

Overview

Atre Yas Nabavi, located in Shiraz, Fars Province, was officially established in 2012 through public support and charitable donations. The organization operates two centers dedicated to supporting underprivileged and orphaned children across two age groups: 3–6 and 6–12.

Currently, the charity supports the education of 32 vulnerable children. In addition, one of its major ongoing initiatives is the construction of an advanced, purpose-built facility to better accommodate and serve disadvantaged children in Shiraz.

What actions have been taken by Golestan's donors up to this point?

Golestan donors launched a pilot program to support the educational development of these children. Through this initiative, funding enabled Atre Yas to:

  • Enroll children in 180 extracurricular activity classes, including art and sports programs, to nurture their talents and promote a sense of normalcy
  • Provide skills development programs for older children (14+), reaching approximately 70 participants to help prepare them for independent living
  • Conduct refresher academic classes for approximately 115 students to support subjects where additional help was needed
  • Supply supplementary educational materials, including books requested by local instructors

What are we planning to do?

We aim to continue and expand a comprehensive, personalized educational program tailored to each child’s needs. This includes:

  • Providing essential school supplies at the beginning of the academic year (books, backpacks, clothing, shoes, and uniforms)
  • Organizing three rounds of refresher classes throughout the year to support exam preparation across both semesters and summer sessions
  • Enrolling children aged 14 and above in vocational and skills-based training programs (e.g., tailoring, mechanics) to build practical, income-generating skills
  • Ensuring continued access to extracurricular activities such as art and sports to foster creativity, confidence, and personal growth
  • Distributing enriched learning materials, including storybooks, to encourage reading habits and long-term educational engagement

Why should you help us?

Our estimates indicate that approximately $22,000 USD is required to fully support the educational needs of these children.

Your contribution will directly enable access to education, skills training, and personal development opportunities—empowering these children to build independent and sustainable futures. Many of them have faced significant hardship, and your support can create lasting, meaningful change in their lives.

We encourage you to consider donating. Your generosity will help provide stability, opportunity, and hope for a brighter future.
